QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland)

Founded in 2012, QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) is a state agency established by the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012 with a Board appointed by the Minister for Education and Skills.

Their mission is to promote the enhancement of quality in Ireland’s further and higher education and training; to quality assure providers of education and training; and to support and promote a qualifications system that benefits learners and other stakeholders.

According to Celine Kelly HR Business Partner for Quality and Qualifications Ireland

“QQI went to tender for payroll services and SD Worx, formerly Intelligo, won the contract based on experience within the public sector and the services offered.”

Celine also added:

“As we are an amalgamated body, initially there were a few challenges, e.g. collating all of the data from the previous bodies, communicating with SD Worx, formerly Intelligo, and basically setting up our systems, etc. and establishing the best way to work.”

SD Worx, formerly Intelligo, worked with a dedicated Project Management team made up of members of both companies to ensure a smooth transition to Outsourced Payroll.
